FlexMat International Journal Launched

　　On September 15th, 2023，the inaugural meeting of the FlexMat International Journal was held in Nanjing.

　　The FlexMat International Journal Launching Meeting was presided over by Prof. Wang Lianhui, former Vice President of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NJUPT). The main agenda of the meeting was as follows:(1) Introduction of the participating experts and leaders by Prof. Lianhui Wang; (2) Speech by Prof. Meilan Ye, President of NJUPT; (3) Speech by Academician Huang Wei, Editor-in-Chief of FlexMat; (4) Introduction of FlexMat Academic Journal (video); (5) Speech by Dr. Kirsten Severing, Director of Physical Science, Wiley Publishing Group; (6) Speech by Ms. Yijia Li, Journal Publishing Manager, Wiley Publishing Group; (7) Launching Ceremony of FlexMat's Inaugural Issue; (8) Appointment Ceremony of the Editor-in-Chief of FlexMat by Prof. Meilan Ye, NJUPT; (9) Appointment Ceremony of Associate Editors by Academician Wei Huang, Editor-in-Chief of FlexMat; (10) Academic Report of FlexMat: Academician Xiaogang Liu (online), Applications of light-emitting nanomaterials in imaging and assistive technologies; Academician Wanlin Guo, Hydrovoltaics: from energy to Intelligence.

　　FlexMat is a new open-access international academic journal co-founded by the State Key Laboratory of Organic Electronics and Information Display of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications(NJUPT) and Wiley. The founding Editor-in-Chief of FlexMat is Prof. Wei Huang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Co-Editors-in-Chief are Prof. Xianjun Loh of the Institute of Materials Research, Singapore, and Prof. Lianhui Wang of NJUPT. The Executive Editor is Prof. Wen-Yong Lai of NJUPT.The Editorial Board consists of distinguished experts and scholars from around the world.

　　FlexMat is a state-of-the-art journal that publishes the latest research and advances in materials science, with a special focus on flexible electronics and their applications. The journal serves a wide range of interdisciplinary fields, including materials, chemistry, biology, physics, optical engineering, electronic information, life sciences, and advanced energy, etc. It covers exciting topics such as functional materials for flexible electronics, innovative concepts, and novel applications in organic electronics, plastic electronics, and printed electronics, bioelectronics, intelligent electronics, energy electronics, health electronics, and other emerging directions.
